Our method
No one-size-fits-all solutions here. At Cedar + Mint Co., we approach every project with a fresh perspective, clear strategy, and a whole lot of heart. Our process is collaborative, creative, and built to keep things flowing — from first brainstorm to final launch. Below, you’ll get a peek at how we take your brand from idea to execution (with a few laughs, plenty of thoughtful questions, and a vibe somewhere between “perfectly planned” and “Post-its everywhere”). Just how we like it.
The Strategy Phase
All projects start with a questionnaire designed to help you think about and understand your brand in a way you might not have before. We ask, you answer, then we meet and dig deep into your responses — we’ll figure out what you want, what you need and the best way to get you there. And yep, we’ll do all this before we start considering aesthetics, colour palettes, font styles, etc. (We know — that’s the fun part! But this part will be low pain, lots of gain…we promise.)
The Design Phase
Alright, we’ll be honest — this is the phase that gives us life. It’s where your brand grows, blossoms, blooms. (Can you tell we love flowers around here?) We’ll work on the creative elements that will ultimately give your brand identity and help you stand out in the marketplace. We’ll build brand systems, your website and we’ll take your feedback and work our petals off to ensure you’re feeling as inspired as we are. (Okay, so that flower reference didn’t really work. You win some, you lose some.)
The Production Phase
In phase three, we’re nearly there. We’ll test, refine, test, refine, rinse, repeat. (We have a team of testers who love nothing more than, well, test functionality and usability of the sites we build and projects we create.) Your branding elements (including all templates) will get exported and we’ll hand off all your assets, guides and any tutorials we’ve put together for your convenience. You’ve got our support and guidance in the weeks following your launch. We’ll throw in phase four here, but it's not really an “official” phase. Phase four is watching your brand flourish. Congrats, new friend!
